What you’ll be doing
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery, both electrical and mechanical
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations
- Support production by participating in the rotating standby and call-out rota
- Train and support operators to enhance best practices in plant and equipment use
- Diagnose and resolve issues in a logical and efficient manner
- Prioritise workloads to ensure tasks are completed effectively and to a high standard
- Order necessary spare parts and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, and other departments to support installations and repairs
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all hygiene, environmental, health, and safety regulations
