Our client, an award-winning interior design consultancy, is seeking a Accounts Assistant to join their team in Windsor, Berkshire.
To apply for this role, you’ll need experience with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks.
This brand-new opportunity involves working within the finance department, to assist the Finance department to adhere to processes, controls, and systems within the business.
As Accounts Assistant, your tasks include:
- Managing accounts receivable and credit control, including chasing debtors and supplier queries
- Processing and logging purchase and sales invoices in Sage
- Performing daily bank reconciliations and monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Supporting monthly management reporting and end-of-month processes
- Assisting Contract Managers with CVR updates
- Managing expenses, VAT calculations, and weekly payment runs
- Acting as point of contact for external auditors during annual audit
- Assisting with finance process improvements and efficiencies
- Providing cover for the Accounts Assistant
- Filing invoices and statements
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks essential
