Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industrial sector, is seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join their team in Gamlingay.
This is a great opportunity to work with a well-known name in the manufacturing industry, with plenty of opportunities for overtime paid at time and a half.
Reporting to the Parts department you’ll be responsible for the cutting and measuring raw
materials specifically a variety of steels.
As Saw Operator your tasks include:
- Operating an automatic saw and tube cutter
- Operating manual saws for cutting mainly stainless-steel solid.
- Accurately reading from technical drawings.
- Cutting stainless steel material to required lengths.
- Completing job sheets.
- Using appropriate measuring equipment

- An annual salary of up to £30,000
