Our client is a global leader in Hydraulic Lifting equipment and are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join their team in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you’ll be responsible for operational processes in the development of and maintaining of Jigs and fixture Design systems . This exciting opportunity involves working within the Design team and will be helping to continuously help improve and grow the in house engineering.
As Design Engineer, your tasks include:
- Lead and facilitate the design, manufacture and implementation of new jigs and fixtures
- Design jigs, fixtures and bespoke equipment in a cost effective manner
- Create BOM’s for all designs and machine user manuals
- Liaise with Design Engineers at MK to drive improvements identified from design for manufacture activities
