Position: Service Engineer

Our client, a long-established and respected agricultural family business, is expanding its team and is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join them.
If you come from an agricultural machinery maintenance background, this role offers long-term stability, variety and the chance to work with a mix of agricultural, commercial and construction vehicles. You’ll split your time between the workshop and visiting customer sites, working both independently and as part of a supportive engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Service Engineer, you will:
- Service and maintain agricultural machinery to manufacturer specifications, ensuring reliability and safety.
- Deliver accurate defect reporting and identify opportunities to promote additional services when appropriate.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and other mechanical faults.
- Use diagnostic software via laptop (full training provided).
- Produce detailed job reports with supporting photos and documentation of all worked hours.
What’s on Offer
- Salary up to £46,000 OTE, paid hourly with overtime opportunities.
- Monday–Friday, 39-hour week with a daily 30-minute lunch break, plus occasional weekend work.
