**Job Description:**
Coulter Elite Resourcing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery at various client sites within the Milton Keynes area. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of CNC machinery, minimizing downtime, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on CNC machinery at client sites.
2. Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
3. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of CNC machinery.
4. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored service and support.
5. Document all service activities, including repairs, maintenance procedures, and parts usage, accurately and efficiently.
6. Communicate effectively with the internal team to provide updates on service activities, equipment status, and client feedback.
7. Adhere to health and safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations at all times.
8. Provide technical guidance and training to clients’ personnel as required.
**Requirements:**
1. Proven experience in repairing and maintaining CNC machinery, preferably in a field service capacity.
2. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
3. Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
6. Flexibility to work independently and travel to client sites within the Milton Keynes area.
7. Full UK driving license.
