Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Tax Consultant to work with their very well-established client based in Leicester.
For this Tax Consultant role we are seeking candidates who have a strong working knowledge of general Tax from working in practice, industry and/or HMRC. You will hold a recognised professional qualification, or the equivalent gained by experience. You will work within a team environment with opportunities being provided to you to by other areas of the business and repeat business.

Principle Responsibilities for the Tax Consultant:
- Providing Technical support for consultants and advisory level consultants
- Carrying out in depth research, producing assignments, and undertaking written reports for clients
- Ability to verbally communicate with our clients to discuss the background of cases.
- When undertaking reports ensuring that the full facts are established, researching where appropriate and communicating a full answer, with reference to the appropriate legislation
- Managing own workload, and ensuring reports are completed within the agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge in respect of all areas of Tax, including keeping up to date with the appropriate legislation and developments in law
- Assist the concierge manager with non-complex complaints
- Providing second opinions as and when required on colleagues reports
Person Specification for the Tax Consultant:
- Relevant professional accountancy qualification – CTA, ATT, CIOT or qualified by the following experience;
- 5 years+ accountancy experience in Practice or Industry
- Happy to work remotely, providing assistance and support to others when needed
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Self-motivated
This is a full time permanent position, offering an annual salary of £47,000 – £60,000.
